One evening three fingers met in a cool glass of bitter, and started a dance on the white paper tablecloth, leaving behind them light coloured arabesques. A quick dip in fresh coffe grounds provided some darker tones. Then with a little help from their friends, the others fingers, pencils and biros got grabbed to bring the collection work to completion.

This is now EDWARINA was born from Edith, Rebwar and Karina.

One night, three mouths and six ears, very closely related to the fingers, met.

The first mouth saw the exit of a memory; the memory of a toxic cloud creating a fruitless shower of birds on the Kurdish ground. "Sad is the silence left by deaf birds".

The second mouth told the story of a father who heard "the whistle of stones in the air". It was a bunch of idiots...aiming at...the fantastic sky of birds...And the birds were falling...on polish ground.

The third and last mouth hummed a cruel children's rhyme. One by one, "the lark, the gentile lark", was loosing its feather on a typical French time.

Yes, indeed, the memory of makowiec, baklava and other apple picks may be taking a large place in the busy gear wheels of our minds but there is always a space for a tiny seed to snick in and germinate into a multicolored, multiformed.

A showering of birds.

Each one has his own, mixed with others into common stories. Paintings, drawings, books, amest-carpet, are some of the places where these stories come to nest.
